Monki

(Top to bottom: Rafaela, Viviana, Emma, Isabella)
These pretty things are from Monki designs - I love the galaxy printed tunic the most (relatively priced, at 20 euros, or $35), because if I had a time machine, I would travel back to watch the Big Bang! Je suis une galaxy geek. Monki produces lots of offbeat designs and pretty printed t-shirts at an Urban Outfitter's price.

Homecoming is coming up, and mes amies are being asked left and right! (La soeur aussi!) And what about me? I have not! If you like it, you should put a ring on it. I'm going to buy a ring soon. Have you seen the kidding foxes ring at Forever?

Charles Anastase Spring/Summer 2011

Isn't it all pretty and garden-esque? Someone compared it to Marc Jacobs, and maybe it's a little similar. But long skirts are so pretty now! I remember in my not-so-smart 8th and 9th grade years, because future me always thinks I'm smarter than those past mes (Ha!) I was like, "I'm never going to where an over the knee skirt! EVER! (to my parents)" but, now I think I will. This is Charles Anastase's Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which I think is ever so pretty in shades of pastel, and that sheer flowered creation is so pretty! And collared shirts  <3

I used to have such a thing for Little House on the Praire.

Fall

Topshop's Lookbook for fall! When I stare at it, I get flashes (LIGHTNING!) of inspiration, but I can't ever do it, youknowwhatImean? I will remember! :
The layering is boo-tiful, especially the brown leather accents (knee pads, elbow pads). If you've seen H&M's commercials (MINDBLOWN! When I first saw it- did H&M make commercials before?) ma soeur et moi, we share the $14.95 men's cardigan with the elbow pads (suede, not leather, unfortunately). So les garcons.. if you ever get cold.. you know who to talk to~
And I like the cut and paste thing going on, with the mismatched sleeves - like knit sleeves with a leather vest. The warm colors make me want to drink hot chocolate!

Anyway, if any y'all were reading this blog for personal tasty tidbits..
Je suis un materialistic personne mal, non? The perils of fashion and the way it makes you seem like a stuck up ladybug. I assure you.. je ne suis pas ca! (I am not that!)
Do ya'll know how it feels to supposedly look like someone but feel like so much less than that certain personne qui you are supposed to look like? If you are part of the 3.2 percent of the world who has a twin, you do!

La Jumelle: That's exactly how I feel!
Moi: That's exactly how I feel!

Topshop Spring 2011

I REALLY loved Topshop's Spring 2011 show.  Why aren't they major designers? They are, aren't they?
I'm going to go to sleep thinking about this. Goodnight. Click here to see the rest! I liked the white and red combination, the nudes, and the crazy poof-i-licious hair.

London Fashion Week Begins

Yay for fashion week? Oui, yay, for a bazillion new trends and combinations~ But I really don't have time to surf through ALL THE COLLECTIONS, that's 400+ pictures! Topshop is doing live streaming for a few of those shows too - I remember when Marc Jacobs went streaming. I tried to watch through all of it but couldn't because my mind starting wandering off to what my cat was licking.

But London Fashion week begins today! Maybe 4 years from now, I'll be in London instead of sitting in my spinny chair, at home.

Suno x Loeffler Raundall

I try super hard not to reblog from Refinery all the time - but these Suno x Loeffler Raundall shoes were just so. pretty. Tres jolies! I have such a thing for huge, wood chunks in shoes, and the prints make it look more pop-arty. They're actually popping up all over the internet, actually (like Nylon!). The two collaborated for Suno's Spring 11 collection.

Band of Outsiders Spring 2011

The 70's
It's fashion week! Here's Band of Outsider's Spring 2011 Women's wear. I chose this bit because they remind me of the 70's, with bold basic colors! I like the 70's, despite Lovely Bones. That put me down in the dumps.
Speaking of the 70's, I got myself Disco Duo nail polish from forever the other day, it comes with a sparkly grey and a pastel grey. I like the pastel grey.

How are you supposed to spell "grey"?

Grecian
The second part of their show contrasts,
It's sort of pretty and flowy, Grecian actually! (Look at them' sandals.) I like them both.

Facehunter
I need to find a jacket comme ca. Phyllis says I need to calm-the-casual- down, but, I know I just can't. C'est impossible!  I try, I try. I bought a bowtie for a friend recently, but I'm not sure if he'll wear it. I want a bow tie! I like how she has an androgynous outfit, but looks girly-wirly too.

"Viktor&Rolf x H&M" (Lookbook.nu)
This girl, I love her looks. I also want her blouse, but it was expensive, pour un chemisier. I must continue my search.

Frank Tell Spring 2011 Shoes (Refinery29)
Wedges. I love wedges. I feel bad for not having heard of Frank Tell before. His wrap whit shoe is pretty.
It's Fashion Week!

Never Been to Topshop

Topshop is on facebook! A game called retail therapy allows you to make your own shop, and visit a virtual Topshop store. How fun; it reminds me of the fifth grade. Back when we were young,

Lanvin x H&M

Alber Elbaz, the top designer of Lanvin is collaborating with H&M! Et je suis crazy about collaborations, oui. The menswear and womenswear collection is coming out November 2, and perhaps out of those 200 stores it's opening to, we'll be lucky ducks and it'll appear at Santana Row, or the Great Mall!

Buggies

A whole bunch of bug things have popped out, including Sea of Shoe's new bug jewelry line, made out of real tootin' beetles. I sort of like them now too! Here's some bug charms from ornamentea.com, who specializes in charms and jewelry; each bug is pretty inexpensive, from $2-5.

My dad recently bought a bug zapper, shaped like a tennis racquet.

Dad: "It's electrified for super-powered badminton playing!"
Auntie: " Really!? Well then, why'd you just buy one?"

Quoi?

 (Made by Style Hurricane, $25-35)
I haven't been posting as of late because I've been so darn tootin' busy with school (what was I thinking when I signed up for WHAP and leadership!?) but I must be busy all the time or else my mind will wander off to some other place. Can't have that happening.

Yesterday I went shopping and bought a bunch of random things, like a black pencil skirt thing and a pink cardigan, which I will probably end up returning (does anyone else do this?). But, it was the first time the twin and I could run free like willy (who actually swam!) around the mall all by ourselves. So proud (': I also bought that H&M tiger cropped shirt.

I realized I can't buy everything I want, because my pockets are empty, so I need to resort to making a second rate version of them. So sad. I need to somehow create an ear cuff, and then an A-line skirt!

United Bamboo Model Call

(VIA United Bamboo)
United Bamboo has recently opted for kitty models, and now they're calling for all fashionista kitties who know how to strut their stuff! A model call has been made for new cat-models - I wonder if they except plus size models. Ahem, my cat.

Buys

Now, before you read this, Malaysia is a place with lots of non-pretty clothes, and so when you see an okay thing, you think it's awesome! This probably happened to me (with a case of bon marche)

1)Blazer: 20 RM = $6
I was pretty iffy about this buy; I just thought I needed a blazer as an essential! The price was nice too - YOU SHOULDN'T BUY THINGS FOR THE PRICE FRANCES

2)Outerwear: 25 RM = $8
I thought the gold lining stuff was pretty pretty... but I felt like I bought way too much black!

3)Quilted Red Shoulder Bag: 10 RM = $3.20
It looks sort of like Chanel (I'm pretty sure those fake designer good makers where trying to sell it off as Chanel) but I bought it because I needed some color after all that black... and it was also inexpensive.

4)Zipper Dress: 50 RM = $16
Mom offered to buy this for me, so I thought why not? It's pretty, I feel so girly.

5) Gigantic Flowy Pink Thing: 25 RM = $8
I thought the flowy-ness was very pretty; I also like how it gets longer in the back. It also comes with a pretty lacy under-tanktop, that I was to lazy to put in the picture. I got it stained with some paint... but I'm hoping it's unnoticeable after I drenched it out.

6) Lace Tunic: 30 RM = $10
I have such a weakness for lacey, pretty things..

7) Polka-dotted Highwaisted Zippered Shorts: 15 RM = $5
They were pretty! And polka-dotted... I liked them.

8) Satchel: 25 RM = $8
I bought this at a pretty store filled with 25 RM things; I needed a new bag to replace my other brown one that said "Genuine Leather" on it... which was tacky! So I bought this one.

9) Sheer Thing: 50 RM = $16
I first saw this, and liked it so much! But I didn't buy it at first... because I thought it was expensive! But I kept thinking about it, and, when I think about something for a long time, I have to buy it! This was probably one of my favorites.

I bought some shoes and denim short-shorts too (8 RM!), but I'll put that up some other time.
I have such a bad soft spot for all 8th/9th grade-esque pretty things...

Nonetheless, I felt like I should be really bad-butt in Malaysia! And I started wanting to be Asian-hipster (LIKE I DO EVERY YEAR I GO BACK) but I contained myself, and only wore some ripped up jeans. And a black hat, which as it turns out, no one wears hats in 98 degree weather!
