Winter Booties - 8/29
We went to Target with pops and picked up these two pair of cuties on sale. We got the leopard print rain booties for $9 and the sparkly glitter doc marten look alikes for $15! They were in the kid's section; yay for small feet!

Recent Buys - August
Here is a collection of my recent buys! I got the cropped sleeveless polo in a buy one get one free sale with sis; it was $4. A couple days ago, me, sis, and Ryan biked to saver's for a thrift trip and I found this little beauty! Little boys have the cuuuutest "vintage" clothes. I grabbed the batman baseball tee; it has a batman logo in the front and a 10 in the back w. batman graphics in it! I tried it on and the cut is perfect, but the fabric is a little heavy so i'm saving it for a cooler season. Lastly we went to Valley fair yesterday, where i finally picked up a fitted crop top! It's white with half sleeves. And I splurged on a $20 satchel from UO; it's fake leather accented with leoparded printed faux horse hair. I needed a new school bag anyways ^^

Aloe Fresh Gel Cream - The Face Shop
I've needed a light moisturizer for a while, and when I got a sample of the aloe fresh gel cream I was pretty relieved! It's gel instead of cream, so it's super light and refreshing; it comes out of the tube in a really watery gel substance. I've been using it for 3 days, gonna see what happens!

neato mosquito: five finger sponge
I know I've been blogging too much lately but this was just so interesting! It's a brush from StyleNanda that imitates fingers; maybe it'd be good for applying foundations? I'm new to this stuff so don't trust what I say
Also the margins are horribleeee
Beauty Wish List
Here's some stuff I want to try out because of the good reviews and moderate prices ($8-$13)
This got a 4.4/5 rating from 97 people, with a 86% buy back rate on makeupalley.com. It'd be neat to try! Right now I have 2 masks though, so I'll try this when I'm running low.
The description of this says the powder is mattifying, oil controlling, and provides spf 50++; I'm not sure about how efficient a powder will be at blocking UV rays though.
This is the last thing I've been wanting to try! I'm currently running out of my Skin79, so I think this'll be the next BB I try. It's a gel formula instead of the usual oil based ones; hopefully it'll be lighter and clog my pores less. It also says it's moisturizing.

Boots Botanicals Complexion Refining Toning Lotion, Skin79 Super BB in Pink, LUSH Tea Tree Water Toner |
Boots Botanicals Complexion Refining Toning Lotion
Most toners are too harsh for me, because they contain alcohol and other chemicals; since this was a toning lotion, it was less drying and did help in absorbing oil. It did an okay job at complexion refining, and pore minimizing! I dab it on with cotton pads in the morning before BB cream and at night under a mask (Queen Helen's Mint Julep Mask, as intro'd by Wrinkled Noses)
Skin79 Super BB in Pink
I've been using this BB cream since December and it hasn't contributed much to breakouts; but compared to my previous makeup free skin..my skin is a lot more sensitive now. But on the brightside, it provides pretty good coverage and can be used as concealer. So far, between this and the Skin79 Super BB in Orange, the Pink clogs my pores less.
LUSH Tea Tree Water
I posted this before but wanted to follow up. I don't use this over my face anymore, because it caused red patches in my skin as a reaction; but i do use a cotton swab. After picking at pimples (I know, gross) I dip the cotton swab into the Tea Tree and apply to the wound. Most of the time it keeps it from getting infections and swelling.
(not pictured) Skin Food Egg Pore White Foam
I love this face wash! I also heard about it from Oiseau88 who has a similar skin type. It lathers up really well and makes your skin feel tight after using. I've been using the same bottle for about 2 months, day and night and it hasn't run out. I can't say much about its whitening properties though.
July Beauty Buys + Gifts
I was vacationing in malaysia this last month (July) and I was excited to learn they actually had skinfood and etude house shops there! The prices weren't too much nicer than ebay, but skinfood was having a sale one day (something you can't get on ebay, haha) so I picked something up :-)
After watching oiseau88's beauty posts I wanted to pick this AC Clinic Clay Pack up from Etude House; coincidentally this was one of the things that was on sale! I got it for around $7.50 usd. It's supposed to control sebum and oil, while drying out pimples. I'm only using this on problem spots and not as a full mask.
My P.I.C also bought some stuff for me while I was away (he knows me so well, and my skin obsession, hehe) How nice was that?? It was a super pleasant surprise.
My face is picky but hopefully this stuff works!
I also picked up a small angled brush because the one that came with my ELF liner broke..
Lastly I received a small haul of underclothing and socks and essentials like that..
People say highwaisted undies are granny like, and I'm not objecting but y'gotta hold in that muffin top somehow, haha.

high heels suicide
ughhh cute graphic tees "-----" the one i love the most is the daisy long sleeve; i've always preferred longsleeves to tees for some reason, maybe for the coverage and my ugly arms. SO CUTE. All tees are from highheelsuicide.com

fruits fruits
I really like fruit prints right now; the only one I own is my strawberry bustier which mom doesn't let me wear much (cause of dem lady lumps). Well these fruits look totes approps and hopefully I'll find some nice fruit prints here in Malaysia! Though that'd be hard because the style here is pretty much stuck on the chiffon and collar type; but some hardcore stores like DNA warehouse sell more special duds. Time to go searching!
